Welcome to Dear Pards.
These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) are a legal agreement between you and Dear Pards, LLC (“Dear Pards,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of our website, newsletters, subscriptions, printed artifacts, events, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. 1. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All content made available through the Service — including but not limited to letters, essays, artwork, illustrations, photographs, graphics, logos, audio, video, printed artifacts, and digital content (collectively, the “Content”) — is owned by Dear Pards or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, display, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent.

2. Subscriptions & Payments
By purchasing a subscription or product, you agree to pay all applicable fees.
All subscription fees are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

3. User Submissions (“User Content”)
If you submit comments, letters, images, suggestions, or other materials to Dear Pards (collectively, “User Content”):
You represent that you own or have permission to share the material.
You grant Dear Pards a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in connection with the Service.
We may edit submissions for clarity or length.
We are not obligated to publish any submission.
You retain ownership of your original work.
4. Respecting Intellectual Property
Dear Pards respects the intellectual property rights of others.
If you believe your copyrighted material has been used improperly on our Service, please send written notice including:
Identification of the copyrighted work
Identification of the allegedly infringing material
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Dear Pards regarding the Service and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
